Riverview Christian Academy went on a field trip. The kindergarten and two through four went to Andelin Farms, and the fifth grade through eighth grade went to the Animal Ark. It was lots of fun and we saw animals such as cheetahs, birds, tigers, porcupines, and all sorts of animals like that. I was not at Andelin Farms but I am sure that they had lots of fun too. I enjoy going on field trips to have a change of scenery and do something different than just plain old classwork.

Chubbah preached to us on Thursday. He was preaching about a girl. She was on her roller skates and she was riding around. Then she saw this hill so she went down the hill and bumped into a car. She made a dent in the car and her sister came running down the hill she said, ”you made a dent in the car” and the younger sister was wondering, why are you worried about the car and not me? So the next week she was on a bike and she wasn’t scared because she knew she had breaks. So she went down the hill and she said, I won’t bump into the car. So guess what? It happened that she bumped into the car and she made a another dent, broke the bike and broke her arm. She went to the lady and said, ”sorry i made another dent in your car.” The lady said “it’s ok, i'm just glad you are alright”. A week later her mom told her to warm up the car so she said ”ok”. She went to the car warmed it up and she said i wonder what it feels like driving a car? So she went to the driver seat and drove the car down the hill! Guess what? POW! She hit the car and made a bigger dent. So, she went to the lady and said “I'm so sorry I made a bigger dent on your car.” Then the lady said ”it’s fine I'm just glad you're alright.

I want to share with you about my winter break.

My winter break was fun. I had so many cool things I did. First, I went sledding and got presents like clothes, money and other stuff. On Christmas Day I went to a party with my dad and to his friends house. We did secret Santa there. We had food, presents, and my dog got to go too. I got some secret Santa presents and ate. After that I went back to my dad's house and watched some movies and shows and drank hot chocolate. I really liked my break because I got to spend time with family and friends.

That was my winter break! I hope you enjoyed yours like I did mine.

This year in Nevada it started snowing in October. Everyone was surprised and happy. It started getting pretty cold then in mid December it started snowing like crazy, It was so deep. I went sledding. it was really fun! I also got to ride in the snow with my dirt bike for the first time and my back tire slid but I had a lot of fun. Now it's melting. But I'm kind of sick of the snow now. I'm ready for this snow to melt so our class can make rockets!

What I did in December was very fun. I spent a lot of time with family and friends and went to Disneyland.

When we went to Disneyland we stayed there for like 12 hours. We rode almost all the rides and ate a lot of food. We mostly ate churros and pretzels. One of my favorite rides was Space Mountain. Space Mountain is an indoor ride where it is super dark and there are only stars hanging from the walls. The worst thing I hated is when we had to walk and stand in lines for hours. The longest line was probably Space Mountain but the shortest line was the Pirates of the Caribbean. The day after we went to Disneyland we went to the movies and watched Sing 2. We had a BBQ and ate ribs and played basketball.

We all had fun in California and spending time with my family and I hope we go there again soon.

There were a whole lot of things that happened in December and it was definitely a whole lot of fun! Out of all of the things that happened in December, there is one single memory that I loved the most in December!

My favorite memory of December is my last basketball game against Tonu and Unga. That was the most fun I had ever had! I was able to play freely without my coach yelling at me for playing my type of basketball. (clean street style basketball) also I was put in literally almost the whole game. To be honest that game I never wanted to win so badly especially because that was our last game. I usually average 14 points a game but that day I only made 1 shot but I had a lot of assists and hustled a lot. We were able to win against them with a score of 39-32.

That was my memory and I will say that playing against Tonu and Unga was fun and the last time we played they beat us but now were tied with a score of 1-1.

On our winter break, my family and I went on a vacation to Fiji for the holidays. My Aunty lives there! When we went there we had to quarantine for 3 days. We swam every day of the quarantine. With the quarantine, we were able to go out still, so we went to this zip line place and did zip lining! It was so fun! On the next day, we went on a cruise to this private island and did a lot of fun stuff like scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, and meeting new people. When we went back we just chilled. There is more that happened but I wanted to tell you most of the fun stuff.

I used to be addicted to the hokey pokey, but then I turned myself around.

What kind of tea is hard to swallow?…. Reality, and reality is, all these jokes weren’t funny.

My family and I all woke up really early in the morning about 4 or 5 a.m. We were all really tired and didn’t want to get up but my parents made us. So we all got up and got ready for the long day ahead.

We started making our way to DisneyLand around 7 a.m. We got there around 8am. When we got there, the first ride we rode was the Star Wars ride, because it was the closest. Then we went on the Buzz Lightyear ride. After that we went to drive the Cars and I let my little brother Samiu drive us. He was really nervous, so I helped him out a bit but he did pretty well for his age. After that, we started snacking on the Musubis, my aunty packed and made for us. They were the best I’ve ever had. After we ate we did all the little rides so my little brothers didn't feel left out. So, my little brother Samiu and I were always partners on every ride we went on. I’m his favorite brother so it makes sense. Then after we went on all the little ones we went on the big ones. We started off with the train that goes pretty quick, then we went on other rides but I forgot what they were called. But my brother Samiu was nervous to go onto Space Mountain but I told him if he doesn't go on it with me then he can’t ride with me on the other rides. So we went on the Space Mountain and it ended up being our favorite ride. We rode all the rides and it was lots of fun.

I had lots of fun on my break in Riverside and hope to remember these memories I made with my family. The End

We had Winter break. It was fun and relieving both for kids and parents that were off of work. But if it wasn’t [ I know it wasn’t ] I sure did have a good time.

Our first airplane ride was to Salt Lake City. When we landed in Salt Lake it was so cold and snowy that we stayed inside the plane for 5 HOURS trying to defrost. After those 5 hours they escorted us out of the airplane. It was about 1 to 2 in the morning. We slept in the FREEZING cold airport! At about noon the next day, we took off. Finally, we are heading to Kansas. We finally got there at night and there was some VERY crazy weather. There were tornado warnings, tennis ball size hail, and a lot of more weird things. We finally got to the house we were staying at. We played a little and then we went to bed. Then, we woke up and had breakfast. After that, I went outside, I met a puppy and played with cattails [ the plant of course ] and then we left to do something else. Now it’s the next day. First we woke up at 5 in the morning and started to go to Jefferson City. In Jefferson City we got exclusive access to what they call the whisper room. If you walk to the other side and whisper something you can hear it. Then we went to the top of the capitol building and went outside at the tippy top. So it was time to go home. BUT [ yes there is a twist to the story ] we were planning to fly back but my dad caught . . . covid19. Noooooooooo! So we had to rent a car and drive from Kansas to Reno. We did it in 2 days. Early the next morning we left. First, we drove a crazy ride from Kansas to Cheyenne, Wyoming. We slept there and the next morning we did an even crazier trip than Kansas to Cheyenne. It is Cheyenne to Reno.

After that we finally got home and slept. It was so good to be home.

I would like to tell you about my Christmas vacation. We did lots of fun things and activities.

We first got home from Washington State and celebrated Christmas. Then we went bowling and GoCarting. We spent some time in the snow and also with my cousins. My cousins came over to our house and we attempted to play pickleball but the whole court was covered in snow so we couldn’t play. We went to a Mexican restaurant and ate some good food.

Even though we stayed home most of the time it was still a pretty fun break.
